Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Especialista en Arquitectura y Desarrollo Tecnológico; IA include but are not limited to:
Conducting comprehensive assessments of current technological frameworks and identifying areas for improvement through AI integration.
Designing and proposing architectural solutions that incorporate AI technologies to address specific challenges faced by UNDP projects.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with project objectives and stakeholder needs.
Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
Providing technical guidance and support during the implementation phase of AI solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
Conducting training sessions and workshops for local teams to enhance their understanding and capabilities in AI technologies.
Monitoring and evaluating the impact of implemented solutions, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Preparing comprehensive reports and documentation on project progress, challenges faced, and lessons learned.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a strong background in architecture and technological development, with a specific focus on artificial intelligence. A proven track record of successfully implementing AI solutions in a development context is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is also required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Educational Background: A minimum of a Master's degree in Architecture, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Languages: Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as the position requires effective communication with local stakeholders. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly indigenous languages of Bolivia, would be considered a plus.
Additional Notes: The contract for this position is for a duration of one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to three years, contingent upon positive annual performance evaluations.
