Job Overview:
The position of Especialista en Arquitectura y Desarrollo Tecnológico; IA involves providing specialized consultancy services in architecture and technological development with a focus on artificial intelligence. The consultant will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative solutions that leverage AI technologies to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness within UNDP projects. The role requires a deep understanding of both architectural principles and technological advancements, particularly in AI, to ensure that the solutions proposed are not only feasible but also sustainable and scalable. The consultant will work closely with various stakeholders, including government entities, private sector partners, and civil society organizations, to align technological initiatives with national development goals. Additionally, the consultant will be expected to contribute to capacity building efforts, ensuring that local teams are equipped with the necessary skills and knowledge to sustain the implemented solutions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Especialista en Arquitectura y Desarrollo Tecnológico; IA include but are not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of current technological frameworks and identifying areas for improvement through AI integration.
• Designing and proposing architectural solutions that incorporate AI technologies to address specific challenges faced by UNDP projects.
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with project objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Developing detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
• Providing technical guidance and support during the implementation phase of AI solutions, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards.
• Conducting training sessions and workshops for local teams to enhance their understanding and capabilities in AI technologies.
• Monitoring and evaluating the impact of implemented solutions, providing feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Preparing comprehensive reports and documentation on project progress, challenges faced, and lessons learned.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in architecture and technological development, with a specific focus on artificial intelligence. A proven track record of successfully implementing AI solutions in a development context is essential. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is also required, along with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Educational Background:
A minimum of a Master's degree in Architecture, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of architectural design principles and technological frameworks, particularly those related to AI applications.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience in architecture and technological development, with a strong emphasis on artificial intelligence. Experience working with international organizations, particularly in a development context, is highly desirable. Proven experience in project management and the ability to lead multidisciplinary teams will be an advantage.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, as the position requires effective communication with local stakeholders. Proficiency in English is also highly desirable, as it will facilitate collaboration with international teams and access to global resources. Knowledge of additional languages, particularly indigenous languages of Bolivia, would be considered a plus.

The contract for this position is for a duration of one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to three years, contingent upon positive annual performance evaluations.
