Job Overview:
The Business Support Assistant (Reports) plays a crucial role in supporting the Country Office in donor and corporate reporting related to WFP activities. This position is essential for ensuring that the organization meets the reporting requirements set forth by donors and partners while also supporting WFP's advocacy efforts. The job holder will work under the direct supervision of the Partnerships Officer and will collaborate closely with various units within the organization, particularly the Programme and Research, Assessment and Monitoring (RAM) Unit. The role requires a proactive approach to managing reporting timelines and ensuring the accuracy and quality of information presented in reports. The Business Support Assistant will be responsible for preparing a variety of reports, including partnership briefs, monthly country briefs, annual reports, and presentations, all aligned with WFP’s Editorial Style Guide. This position is vital for maintaining effective communication with partners and stakeholders, ensuring that WFP's activities are well-documented and communicated effectively to enhance visibility and support for the organization’s mission.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Business Support Assistant (Reports) will undertake a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to: preparing regular information and corporate reports to inform current and potential partners; drafting donor reports in compliance with specific donor requirements; liaising with various units to gather accurate data about WFP operations; tracking report due dates and ensuring timely submissions; consolidating and analyzing data on program implementation; contributing to the development of quality partner proposals and reports; gathering and presenting internal and external data to support WFP’s positioning; organizing and executing special events with external partners; coordinating with the communications team to prepare content for media platforms; translating information materials as needed; designing and developing data visualizations; documenting case studies and developing program process and impact factsheets; and performing any other related duties as required under the PCR Unit.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in communications, international relations, economics, development, or a related field. Additionally, a minimum of five years of relevant work experience at the national level in reporting, communications, partnerships, or similar roles is required. Knowledge of the UN system is advantageous, and previous experience in international development organizations is considered an asset. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential, along with the ability to analyze and synthesize information effectively. Candidates should also demonstrate proficiency in using office software packages such as MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, and have experience with graphic design tools, particularly Adobe Creative Suite.

Educational Background:
The position requires the completion of a university degree in a relevant field such as communications, international relations, economics, or development. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of reporting and communication within the context of humanitarian assistance and international development.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least five years of relevant work experience at the national level, specifically in roles related to reporting, communications, or partnerships. Experience within the UN system or international development organizations is highly desirable, as it provides valuable insights into the operational and reporting frameworks used by WFP.

Languages:
Excellent spoken and written communication skills in English are mandatory for this position. Additionally, fluency in the local language of the region is required to facilitate effective communication and reporting.

Additional Notes:
This position is classified as a Service Contract with a duration of 12 months, with the possibility of extension. It is open exclusively to Filipino nationals. The monthly salary starts at approximately PHP 59,000.00, with additional benefits including medical coverage extendable to eligible dependents, leave benefits, and other applicable entitlements.
