Job Overview: The position involves supporting the Sport and Solidarity team within the Corporate Partnerships service of Action contre la Faim. The intern will be actively engaged in organizing and managing sporting and solidarity events, specifically the Challenge against Hunger and Connected Against Hunger. The role requires a proactive approach to project development, logistical support for events, and effective communication with participants and volunteers. The intern will also contribute to the creation of promotional materials and assist in the recruitment and management of volunteers, ensuring a smooth and engaging experience for all involved. This position is ideal for someone passionate about humanitarian efforts and eager to gain hands-on experience in event management and corporate partnerships.
Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: contributing to the development of the Challenge against Hunger project; assisting in the organization of the Paris La Défense event; managing logistical aspects of the event; participating in the organization of the Connected Against Hunger initiative; creating tools and visuals for the application; supporting companies involved in the events; managing participant registrations; drafting and updating communication emails regarding event rankings and registrations; assisting volunteers and participants; organizing presentations of the application for participating companies; overseeing volunteer recruitment for the Paris La Défense Challenge; ensuring volunteer registration follow-up; providing support for the Connected Against Hunger application; monitoring user interface and experience quality; contributing to event communication in collaboration with the ACF communication service; supervising video creation for the event; capitalizing on event outcomes; conducting satisfaction surveys for participants and companies; and compiling event reports. Regular monitoring of the sector will also be part of the responsibilities.
Required Qualifications: Candidates should possess the following qualities: currently enrolled in a BAC+3 or Master 1 program, preferably in communication, marketing, or event management; strong organizational skills; proficiency in project management and digital tools; excellent written and verbal communication skills; a strong motivation for humanitarian work; and proficiency in Excel. A valid driver's license (permis B) is mandatory for certain external travel.
Educational Background: The ideal candidate should be pursuing a degree in communication, marketing, or event management, with a focus on practical applications in these fields. A background that includes coursework or projects related to event organization, corporate partnerships, or humanitarian efforts will be advantageous.
Experience: The position is suitable for students or recent graduates who have some experience in event management, marketing, or related fields. Previous internships or volunteer work in similar environments will be beneficial, particularly those that demonstrate a commitment to humanitarian causes or community engagement.
Languages: A good command of English, both spoken and written, is essential for this role. Proficiency in French is also required, as the position is based in France and involves communication with local stakeholders. Additional languages may be considered an asset but are not mandatory.
