Job Overview:
The Digital Fundraising Specialist position is crucial for increasing UNICEF Ecuador's private sector income through individual donor acquisition and retention campaigns. The role focuses on developing and implementing a digital fundraising strategy that aligns with the organization's goals. This includes managing digital channels, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring the effective execution of various fundraising initiatives. The specialist will be responsible for creating reports and dashboards to track digital performance and will collaborate with the Digital Unit to coordinate efforts across different teams and external partners. The position requires a proactive approach to identifying trends and opportunities in the digital fundraising landscape, ensuring compliance with legal requirements, and leveraging technology to enhance fundraising efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the digital fundraising strategy and annual workplan.
  • Execute digital fundraising initiatives, including donor acquisition and retention campaigns across various digital channels.
  • Coordinate with UNICEF teams, suppliers, and agencies to synergize digital efforts.
  • Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor digital performance.
  • Collaborate on technological solutions to support the digital fundraising strategy.
  • Analyze digital fundraising best practices and trends to inform strategy.
  • Ensure compliance with legal requirements related to digital fundraising activities.
  • Engage in continuous learning and adaptation of strategies based on performance data and market trends.

Required Qualifications:
  • Completion of secondary education is required; a university degree or enrollment in a graduate program in Marketing, Advertisement, Communication Sciences, Digital Marketing, IT, or related fields is an asset.
  • At least 5 years of progressively responsible experience in digital marketing, including media plan management and performance-driven campaigns.
  • Expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, X Ads, TikTok Ads, LinkedIn Ads, YouTube/Google Video Ads, programmatic media, SEO, and analytics.
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation, conversion rate optimization (CRO), A/B testing, and marketing automation tools.
  • Knowledge of integrated media planning and campaign management processes.

Educational Background:
Candidates must have completed secondary education, with a preference for those who have a university degree or are enrolled in a graduate program in relevant fields such as Marketing, Digital Marketing, or IT. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of digital fundraising and marketing strategies.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in digital marketing, demonstrating a track record of managing media plans and executing performance-driven campaigns. Candidates should have experience in various digital marketing tools and strategies, showcasing their ability to adapt and innovate in a fast-paced environment.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish and English is mandatory, with excellent communication and writing skills in Spanish. Knowledge of another official UN language (Arabic, Chinese, French, or Russian) is considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
