Job Overview:
The SCC Programme Coordinator is responsible for leading the operational delivery of the Consortium’s program in Aleppo and Rural Damascus. This role is pivotal in ensuring that interventions are coherent, efficient, and technically sound. The coordinator connects strategic objectives with practical implementation, translating technical direction into actionable steps on the ground. The position requires a strong focus on overseeing implementation quality, partner performance, and the integration of multi-sector interventions under the SCC resilience framework. The SCC Programme Coordinator will ensure collaboration across partners, technical teams, and field operations, maintaining consistency, accountability, and impact across the consortium’s portfolio. This role is essential for driving the program's success and ensuring that it meets the needs of the communities served.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The SCC Programme Coordinator will supervise the day-to-day management of the SCC program implementation across various partners and sectors, ensuring that quality delivery aligns with SCC standards, donor requirements, and contractual commitments. The coordinator will serve as the operational link between technical leads and field teams, ensuring that technical guidance is contextualized and practical. Responsibilities include coordinating joint work planning with partners, overseeing progress against targets and budgets, leading bi-monthly Technical Working Group meetings, and maintaining continuous feedback loops between area teams and technical leads. The coordinator will advocate for field perspectives in strategic planning and technical coordination forums, support the creation of collaborative working environments, and lead monthly performance review meetings to address operational issues. Additionally, the coordinator will facilitate quarterly reflection and learning workshops, identify capacity gaps, and work with the Consortium Management Unit (CMU) to ensure strong internal coordination and program management.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in program management and implementation of projects related to resilience, durable solutions, and economic recovery. Relevant technical expertise in sectors such as WASH, shelter, economic recovery, and protection is essential, along with experience in quality monitoring and evaluation processes. The ability to build external relationships with professionalism and discretion in complex environments is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate experience in managing multi-sector programs, operational planning, problem-solving, and team building. Financial and asset management experience, including multi-donor programming, is also required, along with the ability to represent the SCC in meetings with local government officials.

Educational Background:
A degree in Social Sciences, Administration, or a related field is required for this position. Candidates should have a strong educational background that supports their ability to manage and implement programs effectively.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in program management, particularly in contexts related to resilience, durable solutions, and economic recovery. Candidates should have experience working in field or area offices and possess relevant technical expertise in humanitarian programming sectors. Demonstrated experience in managing multi-sector programs and building external relationships is essential.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory for this position, with excellent written and presentation skills required in both languages. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not mandatory.

The contract length for this position is 6 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and available funding. The position is classified at the management level (F2) and is located in Syria, specifically in Damascus. The expected start date for this role is May 1, 202
