Job Overview:
The Driver position within the UNHCR Office is crucial for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of authorized personnel and the maintenance of UNHCR vehicles. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Driver's duties include but are not limited to: driving UNHCR vehicles for the transport of authorized passengers, delivering and collecting documents and items, and facilitating immigration and customs formalities for official personnel at airports or other locations. The Driver is responsible for the day-to-day maintenance of assigned vehicles, which includes checking oil, water, battery, brakes, tires, and ensuring that vehicles are maintained according to established security standards. The Driver must perform minor repairs, arrange for necessary repairs, and keep the vehicle clean. In case of an accident, the Driver is required to follow the appropriate procedures as outlined by UNHCR regulations. Additionally, the Driver must log official trips, daily mileage, gas consumption, and maintenance activities. It is essential for the Driver to strictly adhere to instructions and security guidance provided by supervisors and to ensure valid documentation for passengers and cargo. The role also involves supporting the identification and management of risks and opportunities impacting objectives in the area of responsibility, raising any concerns to supervisors or relevant colleagues as necessary.

Required Qualifications:
