Job Overview:
The Fundraising Associate (Salesforce Development) will play a crucial role in leading the evolution and stability of the fundraising CRM (Salesforce). This position acts as a strategic bridge between business needs and technical solutions, ensuring the integrity, scalability, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security of the platform. The associate will drive operational efficiency by maximizing the value of the CRM ecosystem through workflow automation and improved data quality. They will ensure business continuity by coordinating teams and vendors to maintain a reliable fundraising platform. The role also involves upgrading security and PCI compliance, leading innovation by guiding the technological roadmap, and implementing tools that enhance fundraising results. The associate will be responsible for product ownership, Salesforce administration, middleware platform coordination, and providing administrative and operational support to fundraising operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Product Ownership: Serve as the strategic link between stakeholders and technical teams, identifying business needs and proposing technology-driven solutions. Analyze and document business requirements, translating fundraising objectives into technical specifications and user stories. Coordinate development progress with the supervisor and partners, ensuring alignment with priorities. Plan regional releases and oversee the full development lifecycle. Validate functional deliveries to ensure they meet acceptance criteria. Support the design of scalable data structures across Salesforce and integrated systems. Assist in budget management for platforms, ensuring cost-efficient licensing. Explore emerging technologies to enhance fundraising operations.
  • Salesforce Administration: Manage platform security, licenses, and access governance. Customize Salesforce to align with fundraising processes. Oversee environment management and deployment pipelines. Ensure data integrity between Sales Cloud and Marketing Cloud and support audience segmentation for strategies. Advise on vendor needs and manage technical issue resolution.
  • Middleware Platform Coordination: Monitor the health and performance of fundraising platforms and integrations. Coordinate technical solutions with development partners and oversee incident management. Support Agile practices and lead middleware integration efforts.
  • Administrative and Operational Support: Support quotation and billing processes, manage daily coordination with development partners, maintain documentation, and perform other tasks as required by fundraising operations.

Required Qualifications:
Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by university studies in project management, business analytics, science/engineering, information technology, or software engineering. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may replace three years of related work experience, while a master’s degree may replace an additional two years of experience. A minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience is required, including at least 3 years in managing and implementing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, and Community Cloud. Experience in Project Management, Business Analyst, and Business Intelligence is also required. Proven experience in API architecture and leading functional and technical teams is essential. Desirable qualifications include experience applying Agile methodologies and knowledge of fundraising operations, payment gateways, and PCI compliance.

Educational Background:
Candidates must have completed secondary education, with a preference for university studies in relevant disciplines such as project management, business analytics, science/engineering, information technology, or software engineering. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant field may substitute for three years of work experience, while a master’s degree may substitute for an additional two years of experience.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates with a bachelor’s degree from a recognized institution may have three years of related work experience waived, and those with a master’s degree may have an additional two years waived. At least 3 years of experience in managing, developing, and implementing Salesforce platforms is necessary, along with experience in Project Management, Business Analyst roles, and Business Intelligence. Proven experience in API architecture and leading teams is also required.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Portuguese is required for this position. Knowledge of Spanish is considered an asset, enhancing the candidate's profile for the role.
