Job Overview:
The position of Conductor at NRC involves the transportation of staff, visitors, documents, and materials to designated locations as officially approved. The Conductor is expected to adhere to local traffic regulations and NRC's logistical policies at all times. This position requires maintaining the vehicle in good working condition, including cleanliness, fuel levels, and technical checks. The Conductor will also be responsible for organizing repairs and services in coordination with their supervisor, ensuring that all necessary documentation and equipment are in place for the vehicle. Additionally, the Conductor will provide logistical support during trainings and workshops, contributing to the overall operational efficiency of NRC's missions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Conductor's duties include transporting NRC staff and cargo according to pre-planned schedules, ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and traffic laws. Specific responsibilities involve planning routes considering security situations and weather conditions, maintaining the vehicle's operational status, and preparing reports as required by management. The Conductor must keep a log of trips and fuel usage, submit monthly reports, and ensure that the vehicle is equipped with all necessary documents. They are also responsible for managing the vehicle's maintenance and repairs, alerting supervisors about any documentation expirations, and supporting logistical activities during missions. The Conductor will assist in the delivery and receipt of documents, perform errands as needed, and ensure the safe loading and unloading of materials to prevent damage. Additional tasks may be assigned by supervisors to meet the objectives of the role.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a valid type C driver's license and have experience working as a driver in humanitarian contexts. A minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role within the geographical area of the job is required. Basic mechanical knowledge or vehicle maintenance skills are essential, along with familiarity with the local context. Proficiency in spoken and written Spanish is mandatory, and knowledge of English is desirable but not essential. Candidates should also have basic skills in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Educational Background:
A secondary school certificate is required for this position. This educational background ensures that candidates have the necessary foundational knowledge and skills to perform the duties associated with the role effectively.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least five years of experience in a similar driving role, particularly in complex and changing environments. Languages:
