Job Overview:
The Regional Coordinator (RC) will lead the implementation, coordination, and monitoring of the EpiC Bangladesh project activities specifically in the Rajshahi and Jessore regions. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective rollout of interventions related to Global Health security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Security (GHS), Maternal, Newborn, and Child Health and Nutrition (MNCHN), and Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE). The RC will provide both technical and managerial leadership to district teams, ensuring that all activities align with the project’s objectives, standards, and donor requirements. This position is contingent upon funding from the Department of State and requires a proactive approach to managing multiple priorities and stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Regional Coordinator will be responsible for leading, supervising, and coordinating all project activities in the Rajshahi and Jessore regions. Key responsibilities include supporting district teams in developing outbreak response plans, facilitating workshops and mentorship activities, ensuring integration of health coordination in line with One Health principles, and monitoring activity progress. The RC will serve as the primary liaison with divisional health authorities and represent EpiC Bangladesh in various meetings. Additionally, the role involves collaborating with the Strategic Information team for data collection and reporting, facilitating performance review meetings, and providing mentoring and support to field officers and community health workers. The RC will also oversee administrative, financial, and logistical arrangements for project activities, ensuring compliance with FHI 360 and donor policies.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Public Health, Social Sciences, Health Administration, Development Studies, or a related field. A minimum of 7–10 years of progressively responsible experience in managing health or development programs at the field or regional level is required. Demonstrated experience in implementing and coordinating programs related to MNCH, nutrition, epidemic preparedness, or risk communication/community engagement is essential. Candidates should have experience working with government health departments, NGOs, and community stakeholders, along with a strong understanding of One Health and multisectoral coordination principles. Excellent communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills are necessary, as well as strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Educational Background:
The position requires a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Social Sciences, Health Administration, or Development Studies. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of health and development programs and for effectively managing the responsibilities associated with the role.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible experience in managing health or development programs, particularly at the field or regional level. This experience should include a strong focus on MNCH, nutrition, epidemic preparedness, or risk communication/community engagement programs. Familiarity with working alongside government health departments and NGOs is also crucial.

Languages:
