Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Developing and implementing communication strategies that align with the objectives of the UNDP and its partners.
Producing high-quality written content for various platforms, including reports, press releases, and social media posts.
Reviewing and editing content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and adherence to organizational standards.
Managing media relations, including drafting press materials and coordinating press events.
Providing strategic advice on digital communication initiatives, including social media management and online engagement strategies.
Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.
Monitoring and analyzing media coverage and public perception related to UNDP initiatives.
Conducting training sessions for staff on effective communication practices and media engagement.
Supporting the organization of events and campaigns that promote UNDP's mission and objectives. 1
Engaging with external partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration and enhance communication efforts.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of two years of professional experience in institutional communication, public relations, digital media management, or coordination" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">communication coordination within international organizations, governmental bodies, or the third sector. A Master's degree in a relevant field is preferred, while candidates with a Bachelor's degree must have at least four years of relevant experience. Additionally, candidates should demonstrate a solid understanding of communication strategies and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
