Job Overview: The Podcast Campaigner for the FOLUR Project will be responsible for creating and implementing a podcast campaign that aligns with the objectives of the FOLUR (Food Systems for the Future) initiative. This role involves developing engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences, promoting sustainable food systems, and raising awareness about the project's goals. The campaigner will work closely with project stakeholders to ensure that the podcast effectively communicates key messages and engages listeners. The position requires creativity, strong communication skills, and a passion for sustainability and food systems. The campaigner will also be expected to analyze audience feedback and adapt the content strategy accordingly to maximize impact.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop a comprehensive podcast strategy that aligns with the FOLUR Project's objectives and target audience.
Create engaging and informative podcast episodes that highlight sustainable food systems and related topics.
Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify key messages and themes for each episode.
Conduct interviews with experts, stakeholders, and community members to gather diverse perspectives.
Edit and produce high-quality audio content for distribution across various platforms.
Promote the podcast through social media and other channels to increase listenership.
Monitor and analyze audience engagement and feedback to refine content and improve future episodes.
Ensure that all content adheres to UNDP's communication guidelines and standards.
Provide regular updates on campaign progress and outcomes to project management.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience in podcast production, including content creation, editing, and distribution.
Strong understanding of sustainable food systems and related issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
Proficiency in audio editing software and podcast hosting platforms.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Familiarity with social media marketing and audience engagement strategies.
Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in communications, media studies, environmental science, or a related field is required. A master's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant area is preferred.
Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in podcast production or a related field is required. Experience working on sustainability or food systems projects is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines is essential.
Languages: Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in Bahasa Indonesia or other local languages is an advantage, as it will help in engaging with local audiences and stakeholders.
Additional Notes: The position is for an individual contractor and is expected to last for 90 working days within a 7-month period. The role is based in Indonesia, and candidates may be required to work remotely or on-site as needed.
