The position of IC Junior Expert for support Taxation Legislative Revisions involves preparing a technical and recommendation report for a working group. This report will outline necessary amendments to the provisions of the Law on VAT, Law on Excise, and the Law on Minimum Corporate Taxation. The expert will support the Serbian Tax Administration (STA) and the Fiscal Systems Department in modernizing and automating their processes. Additionally, the role includes ensuring compliance with EU Taxation accession criteria related to Chapter 16 – Taxation. The assignment period is from February 2026 to November 2026, during which the expert will engage with various stakeholders to gather insights and data necessary for the report.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the IC Junior Expert include:
  • Conducting thorough research on current taxation laws in Serbia, specifically the Law on VAT, Law on Excise, and the Law on Minimum Corporate Taxation.
  • Collaborating with the Serbian Tax Administration and Fiscal Systems Department to identify areas needing legislative amendments.
  • Preparing a comprehensive technical report that includes recommendations for necessary changes to the taxation laws.
