Job Overview: The Intern, Product Owner CSG position is designed to provide a comprehensive learning experience in product ownership and operational support within the EBRD. The intern will engage in various activities that contribute to the effective functioning of the Product Owner team. This role emphasizes hands-on experience with the Monarch platform, where the intern will learn about product ownership processes and assist in managing daily operational tasks. The intern will support the team by handling shared mailboxes, performing data inputs, conducting checks, and participating in monthly reviews. Additionally, the intern will monitor system-generated alerts, identify data anomalies, and escalate issues to senior team members, thereby ensuring data accuracy and continuity. This position not only offers exposure to product ownership activities but also encourages cross-functional collaboration, allowing the intern to contribute to the smooth operation of the team.
Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for supporting business change management by developing a high-level understanding of the Monarch platform and performing recurring operational tasks. They will assist with monthly reviews and help create and maintain training materials, including videos, emails, and posters, to support business changes. The intern will provide technical and business support to approximately 2,800 users across various modules of the Monarch ecosystem, manage the day-to-day administration of the Monarch Mailbox, and assist other departments with data input and quality control. Reporting any data anomalies and system-generated alerts will also be part of their responsibilities. Furthermore, the intern will participate in internal team activities, contribute to team objectives, suggest improvements, and ensure adherence to the Bank’s Behavioral Competencies and Corporate Behaviours.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or be currently studying towards one. A solid understanding of the activities that the EBRD engages in is essential. Good communication skills and a willingness to engage with stakeholders are crucial for this role. The intern should have an interest in technology and a desire to understand its business applications. Flexibility and effectiveness in a professional work environment are necessary, along with a commitment to supporting the Product Owners team in achieving its objectives.
Educational Background: A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required, or candidates should be in the process of obtaining such a degree. This educational background will provide the foundational knowledge necessary for understanding the operations and activities of the EBRD.
