Job Overview: The Associate will support the Madhya Pradesh State ABDM Office in promoting the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM) by demonstrating its value to healthcare providers and seekers. The role involves establishing Bhopal as a 'Digital Health District' through targeted interventions aimed at digitizing healthcare facilities, enabling healthcare workers to utilize ABHA, and enhancing community engagement through awareness campaigns. The Associate will work closely with WJCF teams, government stakeholders, health facilities, and communities to drive the adoption of ABDM, contributing to the overall goal of improving health outcomes in the region.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of ABDM by coordinating with the State ABDM Office and developing operational plans for health facility digitization and demand generation for digital health records linked to ABHA.
Facilitate partnerships with medical associations to enhance the usage of ABDM-enabled solutions.
Track progress of facility onboarding and adoption metrics through systematic reporting and data analytics.
Lead demand generation efforts for ABDM adoption among healthcare seekers by designing and deploying IEC resources and campaigns.
Collect feedback from healthcare providers and seekers on IEC effectiveness and coordinate with the State ABDM Office for resource approvals.
Organize and maintain project data and analytics files for easy access, contributing to knowledge products such as presentations and project updates.
Develop dashboards and reports assessing adoption trends and challenges, and document case studies and best practices for scale-up.
Explore innovative outreach methods to engage healthcare professionals and communities in India's digital health journey.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Postgraduate/Master's degree with a minimum of 5 years of work experience in similar or related fields.
Exceptional analytical (qualitative and quantitative) and communication (written and verbal) skills.
Strong problem-solving skills with a positive, solution-oriented approach.
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Ability to think strategically and handle ambiguity in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills to build and nurture relationships in a diverse, multicultural environment.
Willingness to travel within and across states, as required, for extended periods (up to 40% travel).
Experience in management and/or healthcare consulting, development sector consulting, or public health is a plus.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a Bachelor's or Postgraduate/Master's degree relevant to the position, ensuring a solid foundation in health systems, public health, or related fields that align with the responsibilities of the role.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 5 years of work experience in similar or related fields, with a preference for candidates who have experience in management, healthcare consulting, or public health. Experience in a multi-stakeholder environment and government stakeholder management is highly desirable, as is familiarity with e-governance or digital health programs in India.
Languages: Fluency in Hindi is mandatory, and proficiency in an additional Indian language is considered a strong advantage, facilitating better communication with diverse communities and stakeholders.
Additional Notes: The position is based in Bhopal, with the possibility of relocation to other states as per program requirements. The role is full-time and involves significant travel within and across states, with up to 40% travel expected. The Associate will be at the forefront of influencing the digital health landscape in India, contributing to the successful implementation of the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission.
