Job Overview:
The Consultant position is designed to contribute to specific projects within IOM, focusing on various aspects of migration management. The consultant will be expected to engage in project planning, implementation, and evaluation, ensuring that all tasks align with IOM's strategic objectives. The role requires a deep understanding of migration issues, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders. Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will perform a range of tasks, including but not limited to: conducting research and analysis on migration trends, developing project proposals and reports, coordinating with various stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with IOM's policies and procedures. The consultant will also be responsible for monitoring project progress, evaluating outcomes, and providing recommendations for improvement. Additionally, the consultant may be required to facilitate workshops and training sessions, as well as represent IOM at meetings and conferences. Timely delivery of all project-related tasks is essential, and the consultant will be expected to maintain high standards of professionalism and integrity throughout their work.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the consultant will be required to interact with a variety of stakeholders. Educational Background:

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have at least 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in migration management, project implementation, or a related field. Experience working with international organizations or NGOs is highly desirable. Languages:
Proficiency in English is mandatory, while knowledge of French and Spanish is considered an asset. Candidates will be evaluated on their language skills during the selection process, which may include written and oral assessments to ensure effective communication within the organization and with external partners.

The consultancy position is subject to funding confirmation and may require the candidate to undergo a medical fitness certification. IOM provides coverage against occupational accidents and illnesses under its Compensation Plan, but consultants are responsible for their own medical insurance for non-occupational issues.
