Job Overview:
The Associate Coordination Officer (SGIM) will play a pivotal role in the Division of Information Management within the IAEA. This position involves supporting the coordination and optimization of various projects and processes, ensuring effective communication and harmonization of inputs to departmental processes. The officer will be responsible for analyzing information related to strategy, programs, and procedures to enhance the efficiency of divisional operations. This role requires collaboration with senior managers and program staff to ensure the successful delivery of divisional work and participation in continuous improvement initiatives. The officer will also contribute to the management of program and budget processes, ensuring compliance with guidelines and policies, and will act as a focal point for coordinating inputs to departmental processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associate Coordination Officer will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including: 1) Providing support and guidance to managers on program and budget processes to ensure adherence to guidelines and policies; 2) Acting as a focal point for coordinating and harmonizing inputs to departmental processes related to program and budget; 3) Monitoring HR costs and collaborating with the Purchasing Assistant to oversee non-HR expenditures; 4) Contributing to review exercises and transversal divisional projects; 5) Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and documenting divisional business processes; 6) Assisting with proofreading, editing, and quality checks of divisional outputs; 7) Engaging in communication initiatives and liaising with stakeholders to facilitate effective program management.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in business administration, management, social sciences, communications, or a related field. A minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, preferably in an international environment. Candidates should have experience in coordinating business needs and liaising with stakeholders, as well as assisting management at all levels. Proficiency in communications initiatives in English, including proofreading and editing, is essential. Hands-on experience with an ERP system is required, with previous experience using Oracle considered an asset.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position is a Bachelor's Degree from a recognized university in a relevant field such as business administration, management, social sciences, or communications. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of program management and communication within an international organization.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of two years of relevant experience in a similar role, ideally within an international context. Candidates should have experience in coordinating business needs, liaising with stakeholders, and assisting management to achieve organizational goals while adhering to established rules and regulations. Experience in communications initiatives, particularly in English, is also necessary.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both oral and written, is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of other official IAEA languages, including Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, and Spanish, is considered an asset and may enhance a candidate's profile.

The IAEA offers an attractive remuneration package, including a tax-free annual net base salary starting at US $55,163, along with a variable post adjustment currently amounting to US $31,16
