Job Overview:
The position of Animateur(trice) de Sensibilisation involves working under the supervision of the Project Manager for Youth at the Rouen/Orléans/Tours Academy. The primary responsibility is to contribute to the development of the 'Course contre la Faim' initiative by conducting awareness sessions aimed at a young audience. This role requires engaging with students in schools within the Orléans-Tours and Normandy Academies, mobilizing them around the cause of hunger and humanitarian action. The Animateur(trice) will represent Action contre la Faim in educational institutions, assist in planning activities, and support volunteers involved in the initiative. The position is crucial for fostering awareness and encouraging participation among youth in humanitarian efforts.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Animateur(trice) de Sensibilisation include:
  • Conducting awareness sessions in schools to educate students about hunger and humanitarian issues.
  • Mobilizing young audiences to participate in the 'Course contre la Faim' initiative.
  • Representing Action contre la Faim in various educational settings and ensuring the organization's mission is communicated effectively.
  • Contributing to the planning and organization of activities related to the initiative.
  • Supporting and guiding volunteers who assist in the awareness sessions and related activities.
  • Collaborating with educational institutions to facilitate the integration of humanitarian themes into their programs.
  • Maintaining a flexible schedule to accommodate school visits and outreach efforts across the region.
  • Reporting on the outcomes of awareness sessions and providing feedback for continuous improvement of the program.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bac +2/3 level education and have substantial experience in facilitation or animation, with a BAFA (Brevet d'Aptitude aux Fonctions d'Animateur) being appreciated. Strong interpersonal skills, particularly with children and adolescents, are essential. The ability to communicate effectively in public settings and adapt to the needs of a young audience is crucial. Candidates should also demonstrate an interest in humanitarian actions and possess strong organizational skills, allowing them to manage schedules and tasks autonomously.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a minimum of a Bac +2/3 level qualification. This educational level indicates a foundational understanding of relevant subjects that would support the role's responsibilities, particularly in communication, education, or social sciences.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have a good level of experience in animation or facilitation, ideally with a background in working with youth. Experience in educational settings or similar environments where engagement with young people is necessary will be highly regarded. Familiarity with humanitarian issues and previous involvement in related activities will also be beneficial.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory for this position, as all sessions and communications will be conducted in French. While not mandatory, proficiency in English or other languages may be considered an asset, particularly in enhancing communication with diverse groups or in international contexts.

This is a full-time position classified as an Agent de maîtrise under a fixed-term contract (CDD) lasting 1.5 months, concluding on 10/04/202
  • The role is based in Orléans/Tours, with significant travel expected within the Centre-Val de Loire and Normandy regions. The salary ranges from €30,000 to €34,000 gross annually, depending on experience. Employees are entitled to 25 days of paid leave and 21 RTT (reduced working time) days. Health coverage is provided, with 80% of costs covered by Action contre la Faim. Additional benefits include transport allowances covering 50% of commuting costs, meal vouchers with 60% coverage by the organization, and access to social benefits through the CSE (Comité Social et Économique). Telework options are available, with no mandatory in-person presence required except for collective meetings and integration days.
