Job Overview:
The AI Hub Campaign & Knowledge Analyst will play a crucial role in shaping the narrative of the AI Hub for Sustainable Development, focusing on the intersection of AI foundations and private sector growth. This position is designed to contribute to advocacy, thought leadership, and the packaging of insights for innovative AI Hub programs. The Analyst will be responsible for developing tailored campaigns aimed at mobilizing stakeholder action and establishing the AI Hub as a dynamic orchestrator of systems across AI foundations and sustainable development. The role requires collaboration with partners from G7 countries, African nations, and relevant authorities in 14 partner countries in Africa, ensuring that key stakeholders are engaged and that the AI Hub's impact is amplified. The Analyst will also work closely with the UNDP Rome Centre to facilitate communication and collaboration among stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the AI Hub Campaign & Knowledge Analyst include supporting the design, implementation, and monitoring of the AI Hub for Sustainable Development Programmes’ knowledge and insights strategy. This involves generating timely and action-oriented insights and creating new knowledge to inform the successful delivery of the AI Hub’s vision and objectives. The Analyst will collaborate with the AI Hub Head of Programme Design & Engagement and the DAI Hub’s DT Knowledge & Strategy team to build processes, methodologies, and campaign strategies in partnership with G7 countries and African governments. Additionally, the Analyst will support the execution of AI Hub programmes campaigns, set clear objectives and expected outcomes, conduct stakeholder mapping and analysis, and establish processes for sourcing and implementing new AI ideas. The role also includes conducting research to identify priority themes for thought leadership, managing stakeholder events, and performing other duties as necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organization.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires an advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in Public Relations, Marketing, Programme Management, Stakeholder Engagement, International Relations, or a relevant field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree (bachelor's degree) in the aforementioned areas, combined with qualifying experience, may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree. Applicants with a Master’s degree are not required to have professional work experience, while those with a Bachelor’s degree must have a minimum of two years of relevant professional experience in AI, digital transformation, or sustainable development. Desired skills include a proven track record in supporting impactful multi-stakeholder campaigns, managing diverse partner visibility, and driving actions within ecosystems, as well as experience in project management and designing partnerships with the private sector.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in relevant fields such as Public Relations, Marketing, Programme Management, Stakeholder Engagement, or International Relations. Alternatively, a first-level university degree (bachelor's degree) in these areas, along with qualifying experience, may be accepted. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of the role and effectively contributing to the AI Hub's objectives.

Experience:
The level of experience required for this position varies based on educational qualifications. Applicants with a Master’s degree (or equivalent) are not required to have prior professional work experience. However, those with a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) must have at least two years of relevant professional experience in areas such as AI, digital transformation, or sustainable development. This experience is crucial for effectively navigating the challenges and opportunities presented by the role.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Additionally, working knowledge of another official UN language or a local language from partner countries is considered advantageous. Proficiency in multiple languages will enhance communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders across various regions.
