The organization focuses on various areas including child protection, education, health, and nutrition, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive. UNICEF is committed to diversity and inclusion, reflecting the communities it serves, and adheres to strict ethical standards in its operations.

Job Overview:
The selected consultant will play a crucial role in enhancing the management, quality control, and continuous improvement of UNICEF's Face to Face (F2F) donor recruitment strategy. This involves providing ongoing technical and operational support to external agencies responsible for donor recruitment. The consultant will ensure rigorous monitoring of donation processes, analyze performance data, and coordinate effectively with agencies and internal teams. The overarching goal is to strengthen the capacity of recruitment agencies while ensuring compliance with UNICEF's ethical standards and operational guidelines. The consultant will be expected to deliver various reports and analyses that contribute to the strategic improvement of the F2F strategy, ensuring that the recruitment process is transparent, professional, and aligned with UNICEF's values.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Monitoring and Control: Conduct systematic follow-ups on reporting and processes related to donations, ensuring accurate management and traceability of information from recruitment agencies.
  • Strategic Analysis and Improvement: Generate periodic analyses and strategic recommendations based on evidence to enhance the performance of agencies and the F2F strategy.
  • Coordination and Feedback: Effectively coordinate with recruitment agencies and UNICEF internal teams, providing timely and constructive feedback during formal management meetings and field observations.
  • Capacity Development: Contribute to the capacity building of agencies through training sessions, ensuring adherence to administrative processes and ethical standards.
  • Deliverables: Monthly operational reports, bimonthly quality control reports, quarterly coordination reports, and feedback from field visits, among others, to ensure comprehensive oversight of the F2F strategy.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in donor recruitment processes, fundraising, or working with agencies in a Face to Face (F2F) modality. They should demonstrate operational management skills, including daily and weekly process management, report preparation, and results tracking. Experience in quality control, analysis of performance indicators, and corrective action follow-up is essential. Additionally, candidates should possess strong observational and feedback skills to train and support recruitment teams effectively.

Educational Background:
A relevant degree in social sciences, business administration, or a related field is required. Advanced degrees or certifications in fundraising, project management, or related areas will be considered an asset.

Experience:
The position requires at least 3 years of relevant experience in managing donor recruitment processes, particularly in the F2F modality. Candidates should have a proven track record of operational management, quality control, and strategic analysis in similar roles.

Languages:
Fluency in Spanish is mandatory, and proficiency in English is considered a valuable asset. Knowledge of additional languages may enhance a candidate's profile but is not required.

Additional Notes:
The consultancy is expected to be full-time, with a contract duration that will be specified upon selection. UNICEF emphasizes the importance of diversity and encourages applications from underrepresented groups. Selected candidates will be subject to background checks and must comply with UNICEF's policies on child protection and ethical conduct. The consultant will be responsible for their tax obligations and must ensure that all necessary documentation is provided for contract execution.
