Job Overview:
The Senior Analyst (M&E) position is crucial for supporting the development and implementation of a monitoring and evaluation (M&E) framework for the immunization program at the state level. The role is designed for a motivated individual with 3-4 years of relevant experience, who is passionate about global health and data-driven decision-making. The incumbent will work closely with program leadership to provide analytical support for monitoring and evaluating program progress against planned learning objectives. This position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including government and donor representatives, to ensure effective documentation and dissemination of program results. The role is based in New Delhi, with travel to Bihar required for program implementation and support.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior Analyst (M&E) will be responsible for a variety of tasks including: assisting in the design and implementation of M&E strategies aligned with program work plans; contributing to the development of research tools and protocols for evaluation surveys; collaborating with team members to collect and validate data; participating in programmatic evaluations to identify bottlenecks and solutions; developing and updating M&E dashboards; supporting program staff in data management and reporting processes; creating communication materials to showcase program results; disseminating knowledge products to stakeholders; documenting best practices and success stories; implementing a learning dissemination plan; conducting primary and secondary research; acquiring data from public sources; maintaining data sets; and coordinating project-wide outputs related to reporting and compliance.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Science, or a related discipline. A minimum of 3 years of analytics experience in relevant fields such as pharmaceuticals or consulting is required. Candidates should demonstrate excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficiency in analytical tools such as R, STATA, Advanced Excel, and Power BI is strongly preferred, along with a working knowledge of statistical methods. An entrepreneurial mindset, the ability to work independently, and a proven track record in multi-stakeholder environments are essential. Candidates should also have experience in evidence-based decision-making processes and be willing to travel at short notice.

Educational Background:
The position requires a Bachelor’s or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Science. A preferred qualification is a Master's or advanced degree in data science, operations research, public health, or a similar discipline, which would enhance the candidate's suitability for the role.

Experience:
The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, particularly in analytics within the pharmaceutical, consulting, or similar sectors. Experience working in challenging multi-stakeholder environments and the ability to think strategically and solve problems in fast-paced settings are critical. Familiarity with M&E frameworks, especially in the context of NGOs or for-profits, is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Hindi is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset but is not required.
