Job Overview:
The Climate Change Knowledge Management Consultant will play a pivotal role in facilitating, supporting, coordinating, monitoring, and reporting on the implementation of community engagement activities related to the ROTA project. This position requires close collaboration with UNICEF field offices, municipalities, partners, volunteers, and other stakeholders. The consultant will be responsible for ensuring that evidence, lessons learned, and best practices from climate resilience initiatives are systematically captured and shared. Key functions include developing knowledge platforms, documenting case studies, producing knowledge products, and facilitating learning events to enhance climate awareness and child-focused resilience approaches. The consultant will report to the YAD Specialist and the Project Human Resource, utilizing various reporting tools for effective communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant's duties include strategic planning and monitoring, conducting technical reviews of program implementation, documenting success stories, collecting and analyzing partner data, conducting field visits, submitting recommendations for corrective actions, attending stakeholder meetings, and compiling a consolidated end-of-assignment report. The consultant will also be responsible for developing a comprehensive knowledge management strategy, operational knowledge-sharing platforms, and facilitating learning events and capacity-building sessions for partners.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a first-level university degree in fields such as information systems, information management, or computer sciences, along with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience in information management, data management, or related areas. Skills in community engagement and familiarity with the project location are advantageous. Strong analytical abilities, proficiency in data analysis tools, and excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic are required. Previous experience within the UN or NGO sector is considered an asset.

Educational Background:
A first-level university degree is preferred in relevant fields such as information systems, information management, or computer sciences. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of data management and community engagement necessary for the role.

Experience:
A minimum of 2 years of professional experience is required, specifically in information management, data management, business management, assessments, and situation analysis. Experience in community engagement and familiarity with the local context will enhance the candidate's suitability for the position.

Languages:
Fluency in English and Arabic is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in these languages is essential for effective communication with stakeholders and for the documentation of knowledge products. Additional language skills may be considered an asset but are not required.
