Job Overview: The Education Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing and implementing education projects within the organization. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Education Project Coordinator include:
Line management of project field staff and ensuring adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
Contributing to the development of education strategies and project proposals.
Managing and implementing delegated education projects, ensuring compliance with donor requirements and high technical quality.
Providing regular progress reports to the Area Programme Manager and Education Specialist.
Supervising the education team and facilitating their capacity building.
Liaising with education authorities and stakeholders to ensure effective project implementation.
Conducting needs assessments and submitting comprehensive reports.
Managing project finances and budgets, ensuring compliance with grant management guidelines.

Required Qualifications: The position requires a Master’s degree or a Bachelor’s degree in Educational Planning and Management, Education Leadership, Pedagogy, Social Sciences, or related fields. Candidates should have a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience for those with a Master’s degree and 4 years for those with a Bachelor’s degree. Experience in education projects within emergency contexts, skill training, and capacity building is essential, preferably within the humanitarian sector. Candidates should also have documented results related to the responsibilities of the position and a good understanding of vocational skill training in Ethiopia.
