Job Overview: The Research Data AnalystIntern position is designed for individuals who are eager to contribute to the Office of Supply Chain Management while gaining valuable experience in data analysis and research within a global context. Interns will be integrated as full members of the OSCM team, engaging in projects that significantly impact the office's operations. The role involves gathering and analyzing data from various sources, performing statistical analyses, and developing reports and visual representations of data. Duties and Responsibilities: Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: gathering and analyzing data from multiple databases and sources; performing statistical and mathematical programming; developing reports and visual representations of data; maintaining databases and providing technical assistance; creating data visualizations for internal and external use; translating data results into written reports or presentations; identifying and interpreting trends or patterns using statistical methods; contributing to innovative approaches to organizational issues; and assisting in the development of data science solutions to enhance planning and decision-making processes. Interns will also support team members with data cleaning and management, ensuring high-quality data for analysis.
Required Qualifications: To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet one of the following criteria: be enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); be in the final academic year of a university degree program (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent); or have graduated with a university degree. The organization welcomes candidates from diverse educational and professional backgrounds, particularly those pursuing studies in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Computer Science, Economics, Statistics, Operations Research, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Visualization, or related fields. A background in Human Resources is also encouraged.

Additional Notes: The internship is unpaid, and interns are responsible for their own travel, visa, accommodation, and living expenses. Interns who are not U.S. citizens or permanent residents must obtain a G4 visa to undertake the internship.
