Job Overview:
The Associate Publishing Officer-Content Design plays a crucial role within the IAEA’s Publishing Section, responsible for developing coherent concepts and creative layouts for a variety of scientific and technical content. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associate Publishing Officer-Content Design will independently manage publishing projects, conceptualizing new formats and styles for technical content. Key responsibilities include developing style and format concepts for various outputs, providing technical support for layout and design, and ensuring quality control throughout the publishing process. The officer will coordinate with various stakeholders, including technical officers and editorial staff, to keep projects on schedule and identify opportunities for efficiency improvements. Additionally, the officer will provide guidance and training to team members, contribute to new publishing initiatives, and support the layout of official documents in all IAEA languages.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree in Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design, Publishing, Media Studies, or a related field. A minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a publishing environment is required, preferably within academic or intergovernmental organizations. Essential qualifications include proficiency in specialized publishing and graphic design tools, particularly the Adobe Creative Cloud suite and Microsoft Office applications. Candidates should demonstrate a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, as well as experience in managing multiple stakeholders in a busy publishing environment.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Desktop Publishing, Graphic Design, or Media Studies is mandatory for this position. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge and skills necessary for effective content design and publishing.

Experience:
The position requires at least two years of professional experience in a publishing environment, with a focus on product concept design and marketing.
