Job Overview: The consultant will be responsible for enhancing the internal data and digital capabilities of the EOSG. Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Systems and Integration: The consultant will design, configure, and optimize data management and integration solutions using Microsoft 365 technologies such as SharePoint, Power BI, Power Automate, and Dynamics 36
They will develop data processing workflows using programming languages and tools like Python, SQL, R, and PowerQuery to ensure the creation of high-quality, interoperable datasets. The consultant will also incorporate AI and natural language processing techniques to enhance data quality and usability in alignment with organizational policies.
Digital Product Development and Implementation: The consultant will create digital tools and lightweight applications, including dashboards, automated workflows, and knowledge repositories, aimed at improving internal processes and information access within the EOSG.
Deployment, Maintenance, and Support: The consultant will oversee the implementation and release cycles for digital products, ensuring proper version control, documentation, and user support mechanisms are in place. They will establish procedures for data recovery, system updates, and continuity of solutions to maintain operational efficiency.
Project Coordination and Implementation: The consultant will support project implementation by liaising with internal service providers and coordinating timelines. They will assist in planning and delivering training sessions, briefings, and onboarding for end-users and stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of new tools and processes.
Continuous Improvement and Innovation: The consultant will propose improvements to existing systems and introduce new methods that enhance efficiency, automation, and insight generation, ensuring that the EOSG remains at the forefront of digital capabilities.
Required Qualifications: The position requires at least a first-level degree in management, business, analytics, computer science, information systems, public administration, political science, international relations, or other related social sciences. A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, data management, analytics, digital workflow and solutions design, or similar fields is required. Candidates must demonstrate experience in using analytical and engineering tools such as Python, SQL, R, and PowerQuery, as well as familiarity with the Microsoft 365 digital ecosystem, including SharePoint, Power Automate, Dynamics 365, and Excel. Experience with data visualization tools like Power BI is also required, while experience applying NLP or AI-assisted analytics is desirable. Additionally, candidates should have experience preparing high-quality presentation materials using tools like PowerPoint and ThinkCell.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess at least a first-level degree in relevant fields such as management, business, analytics, computer science, information systems, public administration, political science, international relations, or other related social sciences. This educational background is essential to ensure that the consultant has the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to perform effectively in this role.
Experience: The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in areas such as project management, data management, analytics, and digital workflow and solutions design. Candidates should have a proven track record of successfully managing projects and implementing data-driven solutions in a professional setting. Experience with analytical tools and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem is crucial, as is familiarity with data visualization and AI-assisted analytics.
Languages: Fluency in English, both oral and written, is required for this position. This proficiency is essential for effective communication within the organization and with external stakeholders, as well as for the preparation of documentation and training materials.
