Duties and Responsibilities:

Required Qualifications:

  • A master's degree or higher in environmental science, waste management, public policy, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in waste management consulting or related fields, with a strong understanding of environmental policies in Indonesia.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear and actionable recommendations.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with UNDP's operational procedures and procurement processes is an advantage.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a master's degree or higher in a relevant field such as environmental science, waste management, public policy, or a related discipline. This educational background is essential to ensure that the consultant has the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively analyze and improve waste management practices in Indonesia.

Experience:
The position requires significant experience in waste management consulting or related fields. Candidates should have a proven track record of conducting similar assessments or reviews, ideally within the context of Indonesia or similar developing countries. Experience working with international organizations, particularly UN agencies, is highly desirable.

Languages:
