Job Overview:
The Team Assistant position at the World Bank's Rabat Country Office is a critical role that supports the operations of the MAP01 program, which serves Morocco and four other countries: Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, and Malta. The Team Assistant will report directly to the Senior Operations Officer and will be responsible for a variety of administrative and logistical tasks that are essential for the smooth functioning of the team. This role requires a proactive individual who can manage multiple responsibilities, including organizing meetings, preparing documentation, and maintaining communication with various stakeholders. The Team Assistant will play a vital role in ensuring that the team's objectives are met efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the World Bank's initiatives in the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Team Assistant will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: organizing meetings, conference calls, and workshops, which involves handling all administrative and logistical arrangements; preparing and formatting project documentation in accordance with Bank and Regional guidelines; maintaining a coherent filing system for all project documents; participating in the development of project timelines using appropriate software; conducting inquiries and researching various sources of information; responding to a wide range of inquiries and preparing correspondence on various topics; providing administrative support and managing meeting schedules; handling internal and external inquiries regarding project statuses; maintaining distribution lists and contact information; monitoring and reporting on disbursement data for active projects; translating documents between English and Arabic; organizing and maintaining a filing system in SharePoint; drafting routine correspondence and proofreading materials; recording and disseminating meeting minutes; coordinating schedules and communicating changes to relevant staff; and undertaking ad-hoc assignments as needed to support the unit.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Team Assistant position must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree along with at least three years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong IT skills are essential, particularly in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in Arabic, French, and English, both written and oral, are required. The ability to interact tactfully with contacts at all levels, both within and outside the Bank, is crucial. Candidates should demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail, ensuring high professional standards in all tasks. A team-oriented mindset, motivation, initiative, and reliability are important attributes for success in this role. Experience in event planning and organization is also highly valued, along with the ability to draft and edit correspondence accurately.

Educational Background:
