Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern's duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: tracking progress and monitoring indicators of impact related to CTCN's activities; analyzing data using monitoring and evaluation (M&E) tools and data collection systems; collaborating with CTCN teams to identify gaps in data tracking and collection; recommending improvements for the M&E and data collection system; supporting quality assurance and tracking of M&E related deliverables for technical assistance, capacity building activities, and knowledge products; maintaining a repository of programme documents, tools, and knowledge products for internal and external use; and performing other ad hoc duties as determined by the supervisor. The intern will work under the guidance of a Programme Officer or a designated individual, and will agree on specific goals and an individual work plan during the initial weeks of the internship.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree or be pursuing an advanced degree in fields such as business administration, environmental studies, project management, development studies, or a related area. Knowledge or studies related to development, international relations, and monitoring and evaluation are considered assets. While prior professional work experience is not required for applicants to the UN Internship Programme, it is essential that candidates have a field of study closely related to the internship they are applying for. Proof of enrollment in a relevant academic program or completion of a degree is necessary for the application process.

Educational Background:
Applicants must be students in their final year of a bachelor's degree program, or enrolled in a master's or Ph.D. program, or have completed a bachelor's, master's, or Ph.D. program.
