Job Overview:
The Associate AI Solutions Officer (Associate IT Officer, Architecture) will play a crucial role in researching, designing, and implementing AI solutions that meet business needs and enhance operational efficiency within the IFC. This position requires a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for AI application, optimizing and maintaining AI models, and integrating AI technologies into existing workflows. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate AI Solutions Officer include leading the design, development, and deployment of AI/GenAI/ML-driven solutions that align with IFC’s strategic priorities. The officer will engage with cross-functional teams to understand business problems and translate them into AI use cases and solution requirements. Responsibilities also include designing, training, validating, and optimizing AI/ML models, including deep learning, NLP, computer vision, and generative AI, to ensure their accuracy and reliability. The officer will prototype and test AI solutions, document assumptions and performance metrics, and contribute to model governance activities. Additionally, the officer will manage and mentor a team of data scientists and AI/ML engineers, integrate AI models into existing systems, monitor model performance, and ensure compliance with ethical AI principles and data privacy regulations. The role also involves conducting market research to identify emerging trends in AI/ML and advocating for responsible AI practices.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science, AI/ML development, or related fields is required, including at least 3 years in a leadership or product ownership role. Proven expertise in designing, developing, and deploying AI/ML models and solutions is essential, along with proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or Node. Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks and tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn is also necessary. Candidates should have practical experience with major cloud or AI platforms and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Master’s degree in a relevant field such as Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or Statistics. This advanced education is crucial for understanding the complexities of AI technologies and their application in solving business challenges.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data science, AI/ML development, or related fields. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in a leadership or product ownership role, demonstrating their ability to manage projects and lead teams effectively.
