Job Overview: The position of Digital Communications Officer is integral to the Communications team at the World Bank, specifically within the Climate Investment Funds (CIF). The Digital Communications Officer will be responsible for managing the cif.org website and related microsites, implementing updates, and optimizing user experience. Duties and Responsibilities: The Digital Communications Officer will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including:
Website Management & Optimization: Overseeing the daily management of the cif.org website and related microsites, implementing updates and content changes via the Drupal CMS platform, monitoring website health and performance, conducting regular audits for broken links and outdated content, and ensuring compliance with accessibility standards.
Technical Leadership: Managing external hosting vendors, collaborating with them to troubleshoot issues, and ensuring compliance with World Bank policies. This includes leading accessibility audits and coordinating the implementation of AI-powered tools.
Digital Strategy & UX: Partnering with the CIF team and external partners to enhance site structure and user journeys, leading A/B tests and UX research, and maintaining brand consistency across digital assets.
Analytics: Establishing key performance indicators, producing web and social media metrics reports, and driving continuous optimization through data-driven decisions.
Project Management: Planning and overseeing digital projects, managing external consultants, and coordinating with agencies and developers as needed.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master's Degree (or equivalent) or a Bachelor's Degree in marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">Digital Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related fields, along with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (with a Master's) or 8 years (with a Bachelor's).
