Job Overview: The HR Analyst position is situated within the Skills and Organizational Effectiveness unit of the IFC's Human Resources Department. This role is crucial for supporting the organizational design and effectiveness team, which is responsible for enhancing the design and delivery of work to achieve business outcomes. The analyst will report to the unit Manager through the Team Lead and will be involved in various strategic HR initiatives. The position requires a deep understanding of organizational effectiveness frameworks, workforce planning processes, and job architecture. The analyst will play a key role in conducting organizational assessments, maintaining data integrity, and providing insights to support HR programs and policies. The role emphasizes collaboration with other HR teams and corporate functions to analyze and communicate results effectively, ensuring alignment with the overall organizational goals.
Duties and Responsibilities: The HR Analyst will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including:
Supporting organizational design and effectiveness initiatives to enhance business outcomes.
Maintaining and analyzing data related to the organizational effectiveness framework, conducting assessments to identify anomalies.
Developing concepts and resource materials for HR Client services to leverage organizational design approaches.
Keeping the IFC organizational structure updated and providing guidance on optimal team structures.
Understanding workforce planning processes and providing insights to complement organizational effectiveness work.
Supporting the implementation and maintenance of a job evaluation framework and preparing organizational-level data.
Coordinating with the People Insights and Workforce Planning teams to ensure alignment with deliverables.
Assisting in organizational restructuring and providing relevant data to HR business partners.
Conducting data and staffing analysis to evaluate HR programs and policies. 1
Collaborating with other support functions to analyze and communicate results and recommendations effectively.
Required Qualifications: The position requires a Master's degree in business administration, Human Resources, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a global organization. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is acceptable. Candidates should have experience in conducting organizational and HR analytics, demonstrating an understanding of organizational operating models, and delivering solutions that improve productivity and efficiency. Proficiency in connecting to various data sources, transforming data, and using data visualization tools such as Power BI is essential. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate complex data effectively are also required.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a Master's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, Human Resources, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or a related discipline. A Bachelor's degree is acceptable if accompanied by significant relevant experience. The educational background should provide a solid foundation in analytical thinking, data interpretation, and organizational management principles, which are critical for the HR Analyst role.
Experience: The HR Analyst position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience for candidates with a Master's degree, or 4 years for those with a Bachelor's degree.
