Job Overview:
The Senior MHPSS and Case Management Associate will play a crucial role in supporting the operations of the IOM's established Infoline related to MHPSS services in Ireland. This position involves receiving calls from beneficiaries, recording their queries, and channeling relevant information to project coordinators in accordance with internal Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The incumbent will compile, summarize, and present necessary information for the team and internal reports, draft status reports to assist in project implementation, and support the administrative requirements of the project. The role also includes maintaining day-to-day activities and operations in line with project SOPs, providing routine support with Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) requirements, and preparing simple outputs for project documents as needed. The position requires collaboration with various team members and stakeholders to ensure effective service delivery and support for beneficiaries.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Receive and manage calls from beneficiaries seeking MHPSS services, ensuring accurate recording and documentation of queries.
  • Channel relevant queries to project coordinators in line with internal Infoline SOPs.
  • Compile and summarize information for internal reports and team discussions.
  • Draft status reports to assist in the implementation of MHPSS projects.
  • Support the administrative requirements of the project, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
  • Provide routine support with M&E requirements for existing projects.
  • Prepare simple outputs for project documents as required.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor or project leads.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, Development, Law, International Relations, or a related field from an accredited academic institution, along with two years of relevant professional experience. Alternatively, candidates with a high school diploma and four years of relevant professional experience will also be considered. Accreditation of universities must be from those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. Proven experience in a similar setting and capacity is essential, along with a demonstrated ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in performing responsibilities. Previous work experience in an international organization or non-governmental organization is advantageous.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Political or Social Sciences, Development, Law, or International Relations from an accredited institution. Candidates with a high school diploma and extensive relevant experience may also be considered. Accreditation must be verified through the UNESCO World Higher Education Database.

Experience:
Candidates should have proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating the ability to maintain accuracy and confidentiality in their work. Experience in an international organization or non-governmental organization is preferred, as it indicates familiarity with the operational context and challenges faced in such environments. The role requires a strong understanding of MHPSS services and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both oral and written, is mandatory for this position. A working knowledge of any UN languages is considered an advantage, as IOM's official languages include English, French, and Spanish. Proficiency in the required languages will be evaluated during the selection process, which may include written and/or oral assessments.

Additional Notes:
This position is subject to local recruitment, meaning only candidates holding a valid residence and work permit for Ireland will be considered. The appointment will be contingent upon medical fitness certification, verification of residency, visa, and government authorizations where applicable. The selection process may also be used to fill similar positions in various duty stations, and recommended candidates will remain eligible for appointment in similar roles for a period of 24 months.
