Job Overview: The Vocational Training Instructor (Mechanic) position at UNRWA involves a range of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the educational experience of students in the vocational training program. Duties and Responsibilities:
Organize and develop the subject of specialization (Mechanic) to ensure comprehensive coverage of the curriculum.

Coordinate the teaching of the subject with other instructors to ensure a cohesive educational experience for students.
Maintain accurate records and control the supplies of the section, ensuring proper utilization of facilities and equipment.
Participate in co-curricular activities at the Centre and assist in summer courses as required.
Collaborate with other staff members to maintain order and discipline within the Centre.
Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors, contributing to the overall success of the vocational training program.

The vacancy is open to both internal and external candidates, but only those residing in Syria and within commuting distance of the duty station in Damascus are eligible to apply. UNRWA will not facilitate the issuance of work permits in Syria, and candidates must have a valid work permit to be considered for employment. Preference will be given to registered Palestine refugees and candidates from underrepresented genders to promote gender parity within the agency.
