Job Overview:
The Support Manager position is crucial for overseeing the management of support activities, including finance, administration, and logistics within the field office. The role requires the individual to manage the support staff effectively and ensure compliance with NRC policies, guidelines, and procedures. The Support Manager will be responsible for daily human resources management, administration, accounting, logistics, and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security operations at the field office. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Support Manager will have a wide range of responsibilities, including: managing the support personnel at the field office and intervention area; ensuring adherence to NRC policies, manuals, and standard operating procedures; maintaining contact with administrative services and local coordination bodies; establishing supplier catalogs to facilitate informed programming; liaising with local authorities and administrative bodies; supporting implementation partners in compliance with contractual agreements; developing the capacity of the support team and transferring key skills; collaborating with local authorities and relevant stakeholders; promoting the rights of internally displaced persons and returnees in line with advocacy strategies; ensuring rational use of resources and equitable allocation according to departmental and project planning; and providing support for project implementation in collaboration with the Support Manager.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess the following professional skills and qualifications: experience in a support role within humanitarian or recovery contexts; proven track record in complex and volatile environments; documented results related to the responsibilities of the position; in-depth knowledge of English, both spoken and written; significant experience in managing large teams; and specific skills and knowledge relevant to the context, including project management capabilities, strong planning and monitoring skills, analytical abilities, teamwork skills, and proficiency in French writing.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should hold a university degree equivalent to five years of study in fields such as Economics, Management, Pedagogy, Law, or related disciplines. This educational background is essential for understanding the complexities of the role and the humanitarian context in which NRC operates.

Experience:
A minimum of three years of professional experience in humanitarian activities and coordination is required. Additionally, candidates should have at least two years of experience in team management, demonstrating their ability to lead and develop a diverse team effectively.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, with strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in French is also required, particularly for written communication. Knowledge of additional languages may be considered an asset but is not mandatory.
