Job Overview:
The Resource Development Coordinator is a pivotal role within the Resource Development team, tasked with enhancing private revenue through various fundraising operations. This position involves supporting donor services and stewardship, managing team administrative functions, and facilitating both internal and external communications. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Resource Development Coordinator will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
  • Development Operations: Accurately recording incoming donations in Salesforce CRM, managing regular reconciliations with the Finance department, producing and coordinating timely acknowledgment letters and relevant gift documentation, executing data entry and maintenance projects in Salesforce CRM, and generating donor and revenue reports to support fundraising strategies.
  • Donor Services and Stewardship: Assisting with donor prospecting, research, and due diligence, managing Relief International's general inboxes to respond to donor queries, and supporting donor stewardship efforts through outreach to strategically identified donor segments.
  • Team and Administrative Support: Coordinating procurement and expense processing for the Resource Development team, scheduling and coordinating weekly team meetings, supporting the maintenance of digital filing systems, drafting agendas and materials for global meetings, and providing additional administrative or project coordination support as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess progressive experience in operational and administrative roles, ideally within nonprofit or fundraising environments. Proficiency in Microsoft applications such as Outlook and SharePoint is essential. While prior experience with CRMs like Salesforce and fundraising software such as DonorSearch is preferred, it is not mandatory. The candidate should demonstrate the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders and deliver exceptional customer service. A collaborative spirit and a commitment to achieving shared goals are crucial, along with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to proactively identify needs and adapt to changing circumstances is also important, as is a passion for the organization's mission and a commitment to driving positive change through fundraising efforts.
