Job Overview:
The Senior Executive Assistant (SEA) position is a critical role within the IFC, providing high-level administrative support to the Division Director for Brazil and the Southern Cone. The SEA will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the Director's office and the entire department, contributing to the efficient execution of IFC's strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in executive support, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to anticipate the needs of senior management. This position requires a proactive approach to managing complex schedules, travel arrangements, and communications with internal and external stakeholders. The SEA will also play a key role in supporting special departmental projects and ensuring that all engagements are executed seamlessly, thereby enhancing the overall effectiveness of the organization.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Senior Executive Assistant include providing high-level administrative and organizational support to the Division Director and the regional team. The SEA will serve as a trusted liaison between the Director and senior stakeholders, managing sensitive matters with professionalism and discretion. Key responsibilities include overseeing the Director's calendar, coordinating detailed travel plans, maintaining an action list for timely execution of decisions, ensuring the accuracy and compliance of documents, and organizing VIP missions to São Paulo. The SEA will also support and lead special departmental projects, contributing to the achievement of departmental goals and performing additional responsibilities as needed.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or a related field, along with at least 5 years of relevant work experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with technology relevant to the functional area are essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate initiative in learning and implementing emerging technologies, as well as the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion. Strong judgment, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to manage diverse situations are critical for success in this role. The candidate should also exhibit professional maturity, emotional intelligence, and effective communication skills, particularly under pressure.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, or other relevant subjects is required for this position. This educational background provides the necessary foundation for understanding the complexities of the role and the operational environment of the IFC.

Experience:
Candidates should have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in executive support or a similar role. This experience should demonstrate the ability to manage high-level administrative tasks, coordinate complex schedules, and interact with senior stakeholders effectively. Experience working with expatriates and familiarity with the Brazilian Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Itamaraty) will be considered an asset.

Languages:
Full proficiency in English and Portuguese, both written and spoken, is mandatory for this position. Fluency in Spanish is considered a strong advantage, enhancing the candidate's ability to communicate effectively in a multilingual environment.
