Job Overview:
The Project Support Specialist will play a crucial role in the UTF/GEO/034/GEO-F project, which is focused on the formulation and design of land consolidation in Georgia. This position is integral to the successful implementation of the project, which aims to introduce a fully operational land consolidation instrument integrated with irrigation rehabilitation. The specialist will provide administrative support to ensure the effective delivery of project activities, which include organizing trainings, workshops, and meetings, as well as preparing essential project documentation. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including government entities and international experts, to facilitate the project's objectives of improving agricultural production, land use efficiency, and access to land rights, particularly for women. The Project Support Specialist will also be responsible for maintaining project databases and ensuring effective information management, which is vital for monitoring and evaluating project outcomes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Project Support Specialist include providing day-to-day administrative and logistical support for the UTF Project, assisting in the organization of trainings, workshops, and meetings, and preparing project documentation such as procurement requests and progress reports. The specialist will establish and maintain project databases, assist in procurement processes, coordinate transportation requirements, and ensure compliance with UNDSS clearances. Additionally, the role involves organizing meetings, maintaining project records, and providing comprehensive support to technical activities, including data collection and stakeholder engagement. The specialist will also support the smooth operation of office space and perform other related duties as required to ensure the project's success.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree in Business Administration, Economics, Agriculture, or a related field. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in administrative tasks is required, along with experience working with international organizations. Experience at a UN organization is considered an asset. Candidates must demonstrate a working knowledge (Level C) of both English and Georgian languages and must be nationals of Georgia. Additionally, candidates should exhibit strong computer literacy, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a university degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Economics, Agriculture, or a related discipline. It is essential that the degree is obtained from an institution accredited or recognized in the World Higher Education Database (WHED).

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in performing administrative tasks, particularly in roles that involve supporting project implementation and working with international organizations. Experience within a UN organization is highly desirable and will be considered an asset during the selection process.

Languages:
Candidates must have a working knowledge (Level C) of English and Georgian languages. Proficiency in these languages is essential for effective communication and coordination within the project and with stakeholders.
