Job Overview:
The Programme Management Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the coordination of programme and project planning within the SPP. This position involves managing complex components of departmental cost recovery initiatives, which are essential for optimizing service delivery and financial management. The assistant will monitor the status of programme/project proposals, compile and present data on cost recovery performance, and ensure compliance with relevant rules and procedures. The role requires extensive liaison with various organizational units to facilitate administrative coordination and support the implementation of projects. The assistant will also be responsible for preparing billing information, drafting correspondence, and providing general office assistance, all while maintaining a focus on client needs and effective communication.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Programme Management Assistant will be responsible for a wide range of duties, including: assisting in the coordination of programme/project planning and preparation; monitoring the status of proposals and documentation; compiling and summarizing data on cost recovery performance; reviewing project documents for completeness and compliance; serving as a focal point for administrative coordination; preparing information for billing clients; compiling and entering data on project delivery; drafting correspondence and reports; providing general office assistance; guiding and training staff and clients in cost recovery processes; assisting with data collection and analysis; and performing other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
