The Pintig Lab, established in 2020, serves as UNDP's in-house analytics unit, leveraging data for decision-making and enhancing the capacity of partners to utilize data effectively for policymaking and achieving Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Job Overview:
The Enterprise Architect position at UNDP Philippines is crucial for providing expert advice on the design of digital solutions aimed at enhancing socioeconomic development. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including government officials and civil society, to identify business needs and define digitalization goals. The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for translating these goals into specific requirements for software and solutions development, ensuring that the digital solutions align with the broader objectives of the UNDP's initiatives. This position requires a strong understanding of digital transformation processes and the ability to conduct quality assurance on the work of contractors involved in developing and implementing digital solutions. The Enterprise Architect will also play a key role in supporting the strategic management of UNDP's digitalization and analytics portfolio, contributing to the organization's development agenda for the years 2024-2028.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Enterprise Architect will lead the process of determining business needs by engaging with project partners to understand their objectives and identify areas where digital solutions are necessary. This includes designing and facilitating consultations, workshops, and meetings to assess needs and define digitalization objectives. The role requires assessing the readiness of partners for digitalization, including their willingness to reform manual processes and the technical capacity of their infrastructure. The Enterprise Architect will co-develop Digital Solutions Roadmaps with partners, outlining the current state of digitalization and identifying potential benefits and risks. Responsibilities also include conducting market research on available technologies, crafting technical specifications for procurement, and providing quality assurance on deliverables from contractors. The Enterprise Architect will assist in user acceptance testing and ensure a smooth handover of digital solutions, while also providing strategic advice to strengthen UNDP's digital services.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a strong background in enterprise and solutions architecture, digital project management, and software product development. A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in relevant ICT roles is required, with a master's degree, or nine years with a bachelor's degree. Experience in the private sector, government, and international development organizations is essential. Knowledge of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or similar frameworks is required, along with training in Agile Project Management and other relevant methodologies. Desired skills include experience in Human Centered Design, Service Design, and familiarity with Digital Public Goods.

Educational Background:
An advanced university degree (master’s degree or equivalent) in fields such as information management, statistics, computer science, information technology, sustainable development, economics, data science, or social sciences is required. Alternatively, a first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) combined with nine years of qualifying experience will be considered. Professional certifications in Enterprise Architecture or related fields are desirable.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of seven years of relevant experience for candidates with a master's degree or nine years for those with a bachelor's degree. This experience should include progressively responsible roles in enterprise architecture, digital project management, and software development within the private sector, government, or international development organizations. Familiarity with the UN system or international development is preferred.

Languages:
Fluency in spoken and written English and Filipino is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing communication with diverse stakeholders.
