Job Overview:
The position of Assistant,e de Redevabilité is crucial for enhancing the accountability and responsiveness of the World Food Programme's operations in Haiti. The selected candidate will work under the direct supervision of the National Accountability Officer and will play a key role in improving the monitoring of complaints and feedback from communities affected by crises. This role involves regular communication with community members to ensure their voices are heard and their concerns are addressed effectively. The Assistant will also be responsible for facilitating community consultations and ensuring that the principles of protection are systematically applied in WFP's activities. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about humanitarian work and are committed to making a positive impact in the lives of vulnerable populations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Assistant,e de Redevabilité will have a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
  • Maintaining regular follow-up with program focal points responsible for case resolution in Sugar CRM to facilitate the processing of cases according to defined SOPs.
  • Ensuring the registration of feedback and complaints received through dedicated email, Rapid Pro system, or any other channels within the CFM ecosystem.
  • Supporting the National AAP Officer in monitoring cases related to WFP activities reported by beneficiaries or other stakeholders.
  • Assisting the CFM Associate in providing technical support to external call center operators to ensure quality in receiving feedback and complaints via the hotline.
  • Conducting regular checks in Sugar CRM and producing recommendations to ensure data entry quality (case categorization, descriptions, etc.).
  • Weekly reporting on recorded cases in Sugar and identifying unaddressed cases to initiate necessary follow-ups under the supervision of the CFM Associate.
  • Initiating urgent follow-ups on pressing cases that cannot wait for the weekly report, under the guidance of the National AAP Officer.
  • Regularly performing business support tasks for the team, primarily related to invoice payments, liaising with service providers, and organizing events.
  • Participating in community consultation activities as needed, including regular field visits. 1
  • Engaging in community communication activities as required. 1
  • Assisting in the evaluation processes of the call management firm (external call center). 1
  • Supporting the protection/gender/AAP unit in carrying out all activities or exercises related to protection, gender, and accountability.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. They should have a solid understanding of accountability mechanisms and community engagement principles. Proficiency in using data management systems, particularly Sugar CRM, is essential. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders, including community members and program staff. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously are also important qualifications for this role.

Educational Background:
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in social sciences, international relations, development studies, or a related field is required. Candidates with advanced degrees or specialized training in accountability, protection, or community engagement will be given preference. Relevant certifications in project management or humanitarian response are also advantageous.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in humanitarian assistance, community engagement, or accountability roles. Experience working with international organizations, particularly in the context of food security or emergency response, is highly desirable. Familiarity with the operational context in Haiti and previous experience in monitoring and evaluation processes will be considered an asset.

Languages:
Fluency in French is mandatory, as it is the primary language of communication in Haiti. Proficiency in English is also required, as it is essential for reporting and communication with international stakeholders. Knowledge of Haitian Creole is a plus and will enhance the candidate's ability to engage with local communities effectively.
