Job Overview: The Oracle Integration Developer position at ICAO is a critical role that focuses on the design, development, implementation, and deployment of Oracle integrations, particularly utilizing Oracle Visual Builder Cloud Service (VBCS) and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the Proviso application, which serves as the entry point for project and budget management, continues to evolve in alignment with business needs and Oracle best practices. This role requires collaboration with various multi-functional teams to define integration requirements and strategies, as well as conducting thorough testing to ensure the reliability and scalability of integrations. The developer will also be tasked with producing and maintaining detailed technical documentation and optimizing the performance of integrations, staying updated with the latest features and updates in OIC and VBCS to leverage new capabilities effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Oracle Integration Developer include:
Designing, developing, implementing, and deploying Oracle integrations solutions, particularly using VBCS.
Conducting development and unit testing of VBCS components to ensure seamless integration with Oracle Fusion ERP.
Designing, developing, and deploying cloud-native applications and integrations using OIC, primarily VBCS.
Ensuring seamless integration of cloud applications with existing systems and databases.
Collaborating with clients and various multi-functional teams to define and determine integration requirements and strategies.
Working closely with business analysts and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Utilizing Oracle’s best practices for development and deployment within OIC environments.
Conducting thorough testing within ICAO's Quality Management framework to ensure the reliability and scalability of integrations and applications.
Producing and maintaining detailed technical documentation, including designs, deployment guides, and maintenance manuals. 1
Monitoring and optimizing the performance of integrations. 1
Staying updated with the latest features and updates in OIC and VBCS to leverage new capabilities effectively.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Oracle Integration Developer position include:
Certifications in VBCS, OIC, and/or web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) are considered a distinct advantage.
Proven experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Integration Cloud is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in VBCS and OIC development is essential.
Strong knowledge of JSON and XML is required.
Demonstrated success in delivering OIC and VBCS solutions is necessary.
Experience in developing, deploying, and managing cloud-native applications is essential.
A deep understanding of Oracle VBCS and Integration Cloud (OIC) is desirable, along with familiarity with the Oracle Cloud Fusion ERP data model, particularly in financial modules.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the capability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and projects are essential.
Educational Background: The educational background required for the Oracle Integration Developer position includes a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Additionally, certifications in VBCS, OIC, and web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript are considered advantageous, enhancing the candidate's qualifications for the role.
Experience: The level of experience needed for the Oracle Integration Developer position is significant, with a requirement of at least 5 years of proven experience in VBCS and OIC development. Candidates should have a strong background in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and Oracle Integration Cloud, demonstrating their capability to deliver successful integration solutions and manage cloud-native applications effectively.
Languages: Fluent reading, writing, and speaking abilities in English are essential for this position. Additionally, a working knowledge of a second language of the Organization, such as Arabic, Chinese, French, Russian, or Spanish, is considered desirable and may enhance the candidate's profile.
Additional Notes: This consultancy position is to be filled for a period of 11 months, with the possibility of an extension. It is a full-time consultancy role, and the monthly compensation for Band B ranges from CAD 5,633 to CAD 7,36
