Job Overview: The Electrical Engineer position at WFP is crucial for providing electrical and engineering expertise to ensure the efficient delivery and quality outputs of various projects. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Electrical Engineer include:
Designing electrical systems for buildings, facilities, or industrial projects.
Preparing technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical installations.
Supervising the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems to ensure they meet required standards.
Conducting inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety codes and regulations.
Troubleshooting and resolving electrical issues that may arise during projects.
Coordinating with other engineering teams and contractors to ensure project timelines and quality standards are met.
Designing, implementing, and supervising maintenance plans and systems for various electrical plants and equipment.
Applying best practices, standards, and innovative technologies in line with WFP's operational requirements.

Required Qualifications: To qualify for the Electrical Engineer position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical and solar energy systems.
Eligibility for or possession of Accreditation as a “Professional Engineer” or “Chartered Engineer” status, or a recognized equivalent.
Fluency in the English language at level C, demonstrating strong communication skills.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, PVsyst, solar design tools, and MS Office applications.
Knowledge of local and international electrical and renewable energy codes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Educational Background: Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related field. This educational background is essential to ensure that the candidate possesses the foundational knowledge and technical skills necessary for the role. Additional certifications or training in renewable energy systems, particularly solar energy, would be advantageous and may enhance a candidate's application.
