Job Overview:
The UNV Communication Associate (Content Creator) will play a crucial role in enhancing UNICEF Lebanon's and U-Report Lebanon's digital visibility and engagement. This position involves producing high-quality, audience-driven multimedia content that effectively communicates UNICEF's programs, advocacy messages, and youth initiatives across various digital platforms. The incumbent will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and producing visually engaging content such as short videos, reels, animations, infographics, and other creative assets. The role requires hands-on content creation, localization, and real-time production for local and global campaigns, ensuring that all outputs are timely, brand-aligned, and impactful. The Content Creator will also contribute to planning and coordination processes, keeping the team informed of evolving digital trends and communication innovations in the humanitarian and youth engagement fields.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The UNV Communication Associate (Content Creator) will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including: conceptualizing, designing, and producing multimedia content optimized for digital platforms; developing storylines and scripts for videos; managing the post-production process; creating youth-friendly content tailored for platforms like Instagram and TikTok; adapting global campaign assets to the local context; collecting photos and videos from field visits; enhancing designs co-created with youths; coordinating with graphic designers and video editors; managing digital asset archiving; analyzing content performance metrics; exploring innovative digital tools; researching new content formats; supporting graphic design tasks; ensuring content clearance and feedback; and assisting with any other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the UNV Communication Associate (Content Creator) position should possess strong creative skills, particularly in multimedia content creation. They should have a good understanding of digital communication strategies and be able to produce engaging content tailored to various audiences. Familiarity with social media trends and platforms is essential, as is the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. The ideal candidate should also demonstrate adaptability, creativity, and a commitment to UNICEF's mission and values.

Educational Background:
A bachelor's degree in communications, media studies, graphic design, or a related field is required for this position. Candidates with relevant certifications in digital content creation or multimedia production will be preferred. A strong portfolio showcasing previous work in multimedia content creation is also highly desirable.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 1-2 years of experience in multimedia content creation, marketing" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">digital marketing, or a related field. Experience working with youth engagement initiatives or in the humanitarian sector will be an advantage. Familiarity with video editing software, graphic design tools, and social media management platforms is essential for success in this role.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory, while proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable. Knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset, particularly if they are relevant to the local context.

Additional Notes:
This is a national UN Volunteer assignment, and the volunteer will be responsible for arranging their own housing and living essentials. The position is based in the UN Resident Coordinator’s Office in Beirut, Lebanon. National UN Volunteers are part of the malicious insurance plan and are expected to be culturally sensitive and adjust to local customs.
