Job Overview:
The Administrative and Financial Support Officer role is crucial in providing comprehensive administrative and financial support to both staff and local partners. The responsibilities include preparing activity budgets, managing procurement processes, filing financial documents, and offering logistical support. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Administrative and Financial Support Officer include but are not limited to:

  • Carrying out procurement processes in accordance with VSO policies, ensuring transparency and efficiency.
  • Filing and maintaining financial documents to ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulations.
  • Providing administrative support to staff and local partners, facilitating smooth operations within the organization.
  • Ensuring all financial activities are conducted in compliance with VSO policies and procedures.
  • Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and documentation as required.
  • Collaborating with various teams to support project implementation and operational needs.
  • Engaging with local partners to ensure alignment and support for financial and administrative processes.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this position should possess the following qualifications:
  • Technical accounting expertise, demonstrating a strong understanding of financial management principles.
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is essential.
