Job Overview: The Global Passport to Earning (P2E) Consultant will play a pivotal role in the Generation Unlimited initiative, which aims to equip young people aged 15-24 with essential skills to enhance their employability and earning potential. The consultant will support the implementation of the P2E global strategy, working closely with various teams to develop and execute learning-to-earning models. This position requires a strategic mindset to monitor progress, evaluate outcomes, and facilitate partnerships that enhance the program's reach and effectiveness. The consultant will also be responsible for managing P2E platforms, conducting research, and ensuring effective communication of program results to stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of the P2E global strategy action plan, coordinating with various specialists and country teams.
Monitor and report on progress and results related to the P2E strategy, providing recommendations for improvement.
Develop criteria for selecting countries for P2E implementation and assist in testing the program in new locations.
Collaborate with country teams to design and document learning-to-earning models, focusing on sustainability and impact, especially for marginalized groups.
Provide technical support for P2E platforms, ensuring effective deployment and management.
Conduct outcome assessments and evaluations, sharing insights and lessons learned with stakeholders.
Organize meetings with P2E stakeholders and prepare reports on implementation progress.
Assist in developing a comprehensive Global Solutions Strategy for Generation Unlimited.
Required Qualifications:
A minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience in education, youth employment, or related fields.
Educational Background: A university degree in Arts, Social Sciences, Humanities, International Development, or a related field is required for this position. Advanced degrees may be preferred but are not explicitly stated as a requirement.
Experience: Candidates should have at least 7 years of professional experience in areas related to youth learning, skilling, education, or employment.
