Job Overview: The Crisis Case Manager (Level 3) plays a vital role in the IRC's Home Study and Post-Release Services (HSPRS) program, which is designed to support unaccompanied children released from custody into the care of sponsors. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Crisis Case Manager (Level 3) include conducting initial in-home assessments with children and their sponsors, followed by regular in-person contacts for the first 45-60 days based on the needs of the child and family. The case manager will develop individualized service plans that guide the provision of trauma-informed case management services. This includes conducting comprehensive assessments, interviewing relevant parties, and documenting findings in detailed reports. The case manager will continually assess changes in behavior and conditions that may impact the child's safety and well-being, providing crisis intervention support when necessary. Responsibilities also include connecting families to various community resources, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring timely documentation of all interactions and outcomes. The case manager must build and maintain relationships with community service providers and uphold confidentiality and mandatory reporting standards.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in social work, psychology, or a related behavioral science field that requires direct clinical experience. Fluency in both Spanish and English, both written and verbal, is mandatory. A minimum of two years of experience in case management is required, including conducting intakes, assessments, and developing service plans. Additionally, candidates should have at least one year of professional experience working with children and families in contexts such as family reunification, kinship care, or child welfare. Compensation for this position ranges from $35.00 to $36.69 per hour, with specific offers calibrated based on work location and individual candidate experience.
