Job Overview:
The Bilingual Donor Care Coordinator plays a crucial role in enhancing the donor experience at Save the Children. This position is responsible for providing comprehensive donor stewardship and managing retention activities for various levels of giving, including one-time and recurring donations. The coordinator ensures accuracy in gift processing, tax receipting, and donor communications. Working closely with the database team and fundraising leads, the coordinator facilitates gift processing for major gifts, corporate donations, foundation contributions, and planned gifts. Fluency in both French and English is essential, as the coordinator will serve French-speaking constituents and translate donor materials. The role requires effective communication and organizational skills to manage donor inquiries and fulfill donor needs efficiently.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Bilingual Donor Care Coordinator will handle inbound and outbound communications with donors across all channels, ensuring timely delivery of donor communications such as receipts, welcome packs, and thank you calls. The coordinator will support donor care and stewardship for Major Gifts, Corporate, Estate, and Planned Giving portfolios. Responsibilities also include delivering tax receipting and acknowledgments in compliance with CRA regulations, overseeing donor fulfillment according to fundraising campaign requirements, and leading donor retention and re-engagement activities. The coordinator will manage inquiries from French-speaking donors, process donations and returned mail, perform data entry in the CRM, and support vendor file processing. Regular updates on key Donor Care activities will be provided to Resource Development colleagues and other stakeholders, and the coordinator will assist with annual audits and information requests.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess bilingual fluency in both written and spoken French and English. Proficiency in translating communications in a professional setting and writing bilingual materials is essential. A minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in customer or donor care is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked in fundraising or not-for-profit environments. Experience in International Development or NGOs is advantageous. Knowledge of CRM and fundraising software is preferred, along with a solid understanding of fundraising best practices. Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills are necessary to build relationships across diverse audiences. Candidates should demonstrate analytical and problem-solving abilities and be adaptable to change management. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is also required.

Educational Background:
While specific educational requirements are not detailed, candidates are generally expected to have a background that supports their qualifications in donor care and bilingual communication. Relevant degrees or certifications in communications, fundraising, or related fields may be beneficial.

Experience:

Additional Notes:
This position offers a salary range of $54,225.91 - $70,230.08 CAD, depending on skills and experience.
