Job Overview:
The Human Resources Officer position at UNRWA involves supporting the delivery and implementation of human resources services and functions in accordance with established Agency policies and procedures. The incumbent will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of various HR-related documents and submissions. This role requires providing advice and support to both staff and management on HR matters, ensuring consistent interpretation and application of Staff Rules and Regulations. The officer will coordinate, process, and monitor HR transactions in the Human Resources Management system, ensuring accurate record-keeping and data entry. Additionally, the role involves contributing to the development and implementation of HR procedures and guidelines, analyzing HR data for evidence-based planning, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders on HR-related queries. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Human Resources Officer include:

Required Qualifications:

Additional Notes:
This position is a Fixed Term Appointment for three years, including a one-year probation period, with the possibility of extension based on satisfactory performance and the availability of funds. The grade for this position is Grade 13, with a monthly basic salary of JD 843.5
  • Additional benefits include a monthly Provident Fund contribution of 15.4% of the basic salary paid by the Agency, compulsory medical insurance, 30 days of annual leave, and a dependency allowance if applicable.
