Job Overview: The Finance Manager for the Building the Climate Resilience of Children and Communities through the Education Sector (BRACE) project plays a crucial role in the financial management of initiatives aimed at addressing climate change impacts on children and communities. This full-time position is integral to the Climate Change Division at Save the Children Australia, where the successful candidate will lead financial oversight and management of the BRACE project. The role involves close collaboration with country offices and multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective financial planning, reporting, and compliance with organizational standards. The Finance Manager will be responsible for developing budgets, forecasts, and financial reports, while also serving as the key liaison for all finance-related activities within the project. Duties and Responsibilities: The Finance Manager will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: leading the financial management of the BRACE project, ensuring compliance with financial deliverables and reporting requirements, maintaining robust financial controls, and collaborating with country teams to develop annual budgets and forecasts. The role also involves serving as the primary contact for all finance-related inquiries, liaising with internal teams and external partners, and providing financial capacity building and training to project teams.
