Job Overview:
The Associate Integrity Officer position is integral to the UNHCR's operations in Uganda, particularly in the context of the country's significant refugee population. The incumbent will assist in implementing anti-fraud policies and support the Community Feedback System, which is essential for maintaining the integrity of protection processes. This role involves training and guiding staff, monitoring fraud trends, and conducting reviews of resettlement processing. The officer will also support the operational coordination of anti-fraud efforts, participate in monthly meetings, and conduct routine Fraud Vulnerability Surveys. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including protection and community-based protection focal points, to enhance the effectiveness of the call center system and ensure sensitive cases are handled appropriately. The role is designed to be carried out independently, regardless of the presence of national volunteers, emphasizing the importance of integrity management in a complex operational environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Associate Integrity Officer include assisting the Senior Community Based Protection Officer in implementing anti-fraud policy activities, providing training and guidance to staff, monitoring and reporting on data-based fraud trends, and conducting spot check reviews of resettlement processing. The officer will support the operational coordination of anti-fraud efforts, participate in monthly meetings, and conduct routine Fraud Vulnerability Surveys. Daily support to the Community Feedback Mechanism will involve guiding call center staff, monitoring trends, and documenting sensitive cases. The officer will work within a Multi-Function Team to develop and update the call center system, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among various stakeholders. Additionally, the officer is expected to strengthen their understanding of volunteerism, participate in UNV activities, and contribute to publications and reflection activities.

Required Qualifications:
